Appalachian Marketing & Consulting was officially created in 2021 by husband and wife Carly and Chase Brashears, both whom are from the Appalachian Mountains (Carly from Kingsport, TN; Chase from Whitesburg, KY). ​The two have extensive experience in the business world -- working at both large and small businesses. Much of Chase and Carly's experience is in motorsports and the small businesses that surround that industry.

Carly tooled social media and marketing efforts at Kingsport Speedway (TN), Lonesome Pine Raceway (VA) and New Smyrna Speedway (FL); coordinated marketing and administrative needs for The NASCAR Foundation -- NASCAR's non-profit wing; and managed event marketing/planning for NASCAR racetracks across North America. She now serves as the senior director of marketing and administration for South Boston Speedway (VA).

Chase managed events, marketing and public relations at Kingsport Speedway (TN) and Lonesome Pine Raceway (VA) while attending college; interned at Bristol Motor Speedway; managed racing operations and marketing for NASCAR's regional and international touring series; and spent two years as race/event director for NASCAR's touring and national series. His family owns a small construction/trucking company in Southeast Kentucky. He currently serves as the general manager at South Boston Speedway (VA).
